It was a fun night to benefit the Humane Society of Charlotte at the Queen City Dancing With the Stars, and Meg danced with her partner Brent against WSOC-TV's Sarah Rosario!

The Mirror Ball Trophy was up for grabs...

She did awesome last night, winning 8 of the 11 awards she was nominated for, but the night didn't go completely smooth.

Meet 19-year-old Michael Maxwell of Palm Bay, Fla.


He decided to roll up on a house with his boys Wednesday morning with the intent to rob the place. But he and his crew were met with brute force.

The residents of the home, kicked, beat and tased Maxwell until the police arrived.
They took him to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
He was charged with one count of home invasion robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon and four counts of battery.

This mugshot should be posted around the area for all would-be invaders to know what can happen to them if they try to roll up on an innocent person's home with some foolishness.
