This woman doesn't like to wait for the school bus, so she has been driving on the sidewalk... but this time she gets caught!

She has since gone to court and a Cleveland Municipal Court judge ordered her to serve the highly public sentence for one hour Tuesday and Wednesday.

She arrived bundled up against the 34-degree cold, puffing a cigarette, wearing head phones and avoiding comment as passing vehicles honked.

The sign read: "Only an idiot would drive on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus."

Her license was suspended for 30 days and she was ordered to pay $250 in court costs.

The judge caught wind of her taking the punishment lightly... leaning on a pole, chain smoking, and texting and talking on a cell phone, and he was not happy....

He plans on joining her today to make sure she is taking the punishment seriously.
