She co-wrote CIA Director David Petraeus' biography, and now she is the center of an FBI investigation after it was discovered she was having an affair with the now former director who has since resigned.

Her name is Paula Broadwell, and she is the married mother of 2 who lives in Dilworth.

It now appears that what instigated the unraveling was a series of hostile emails sent by Broadwell to a woman whom she felt was threatening her relationship with Petraeus.

The recipient, who was “close to” the general in the words of the Washington Post, notified the FBI.
