Here is the before pic of the tattoo I am having removed!

I had this done in rememberance of my step father who passed, but it was never done quite to my liking, and so I am having most of it removed....

There is a butterfly at the base I am keeping in my step father's memory.

Went for the first consult at Satin Med Spa and will start my first treatment in about a week and a half!

You can follow the progress here, including what it felt like, how did it hurt, etc.

If you want info on Satin Med Spa (They do more than just tattoo removal) Click here!

You can call them too... 704-365-3588, they work with you on financing too!

I am super excited (and a little nervous too) because they have the latest laser, and an awesome state of the art cooling system that blows on you while the tattoo is being lasered.

I will update this soon!

UPDATE #1....

I went for my first treatment yesterday, and yes, I was a little nervous! I am a big wimp when it comes to pain, and I had heard some horror stories about OTHER places that people had used!

It was a little uncomfortable, but honestly no where near as bad as I had heard it could be!

PLUS! They had this awesome cooling system that was blowing 30 degree air on my arm at the same time she was using the laser to remove it!

I took some Aleve when I got home, but really don't think I even needed it.

Here is the picture....

I'll put more pics up next week as it heals, and I am only removing the sunflower... not the butterfly.

Update #2

I went for the second treatment yesterday, and here is a picture RIGHT after she was finished with the laser... the white that you see is very normal as that is where the laser is picking up the most color...

and here it is the next morning.... Yes, that is a small blister, and it is very common in that area because the skin is very thin... It does NOT hurt though.

I am a big wimp, anyone will tell you this, and I have to say it again, it does NOT hurt! I love that part!

Here it is 2 weeks after having the second treatment, remember I am keeping the butterfly at the bottom, compared to the top picture I think it has faded quite a bit after only 2 treatments!

Update #3

Here is the picture of my tattoo before I go in today for the 3rd treatment.

This is after only 2 treatments, I am really happy with the progress!

If you remember, this is what it looked like before the first treatment....

Pretty awesome right?!

Ok, I have had 3 treatments now, and here are the up to date pics!

Remember this one? It is what the tattoo looked like when I started!

And this is one week after my 3rd treatment!

This is after only 3 treatments!

My next treatment is in tomorrow, and I will post more pictures!

I just had another treatment, and will post the pics as soon as I take the wrap off! It is fading so fast!

Ok, here is after 5 treatments!

Remember, I am keeping the butterfly on the bottom...
