Superman has given up on the print media.

In the upcoming issue of Superman, Clark Kent quits his job at The Daily Planet to most likely become a blogger.

When the mild-manner reporter resigns in front of the entire staff, he rants about how journalism has given way to entertainment. Another journalist tells him, "Go easy on us. Times are changing, and print is a dying medium."

The comic's writer, Scott Lobdell, says Clark will likely start a blog. "I don’t think he's going to be filling out an application anywhere. He is more likely to start the next Huffington Post or the next Drudge Report than he is to go find someone else to get assignments or draw a paycheck from."
