As the smoke clears from the bombshell in his personal life, Jason Aldean is finally back to talking about music. His new album is Night Train and it releases on October 16. Aldean's last record, My Kinda Party, was a massive success. But, Jason says we should not expect a repeat:
"I feel like this album is a completely different record, and I hope when people listen to it, they realize we didn't go into the studio to record My Kinda Party II."
Aldean does believe that he has a good record that can emulate the success of My Kinda Party, even if it sounds a little different. One particular way this album is different is noticed with guest singers. Aldean scored a massive hit on Don't You Want to Stay, a duet with Kelly Clarkson. One song on Night Train features two special guests. But, they aren't American Idols. Eric Church and Luke Bryan guest on The Only Way I Know.
The perrsonal cloud hanging over Jason Aldean could grow, however. The woman surrounding that controversy, Brittany Kerr, has been approached to star in a reality show. TMZ is reporting that the former American Idol constestant and Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader will likely turn down the offer.
