Kellie Pickler has a new record home.  The North Carolina native signed with Black River Entertainment, a label home to country singers like Craig Morgan and Sarah Darling.

Pickler left Sony Music earlier in the year and believes that Black River has "similar values" to herself.  She says:

"From our initial meeting, it was clear to me how much the entire team respects the artists' musical vision, and I'm really looking forward to getting back into the studio to record and release new music to country radio."

Kellie made headlines last month after shaving her head in support of a friend who was diagnosed with cancer.  Earlier in the year, she also appeared at our Kat Jam with Morgan who is now her new label-mate.
