Keith Urban was sitting in between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey as the two pop stars screamed at one another during an American Idol audition.  How did that make him feel?

At a movie premiere, Urban discussed the situation with Extra.  He called himself 'the UN' and his wife Nicole Kidman called him, "Switzerland.'  Overall, Urban was very diplomatic:

“I love it, I gotta say, look I love working with passionate people. I love artists. Everyone just sort of expressing themselves. It’s a very alive and very invigorating work environment. A lot of passion. Randy is the craziest, so you know I’m predictable.”

Keith was also very complimentary of Charlotte and North Carolina.  They were in town during the infamous blow-up.  He said that there are a lot good singers in Charlotte and, "North Carolina’s got a history of great artists anyway. They did well.”
