Taylor Swift is on the cover of the November issue of Glamour. The pop-country star talks about her songs which focus on past relationships. The first single (We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together) from her upcoming album Red is clearly about that subject.
But, Glamour asked about a song from her last album. Dear John appeared on 2010's Speak Nowalbum and John Mayer recently claimed the song was about him. Swift says, "How presumptuous! I never disclose who my songs are about." Swift also refused to listen to more of Mayer's negative comments.
Of course, she never said that Mayer was not the subject of the song.
