Taylor Swift released a song called Ronan inspired by a boy named Ronan who died at the age of four last year.  Ronan had a neuroblastoma, a form of cancer.  The song was co-written by Taylor and Ronan's mother, Maya Thompson.

The money raised from the song will be donated to cancer charities.  It is available for purchase here.  Maya Thompson connected with Swift after this passionate blog

Taylor recently performed the song at a "Stand Up to Cancer" TV special.
